چکیده

For an ultra-shallow buried double-arch tunnel with a large cross-section, the arching effect is difficult to form in surrounding rock, and grouting method often adopted reinforce rock. Hence, examining reinforcement parameters of great significance for potential failure collapse prevention. The land part Haicang undersea was selected as case study; laboratory experiments, theoretical analysis, numerical simulation were performed determine solid strength parameters. effects different water–cement ratios on slurry fluidity, setting time, bleeding rate, sample studied by experiments. Research results can provide reference similar projects.

Numerical simulation of water entry of tunnel cross section with different deadrise angles and tunnel radiuses

This study deals with the numerical modeling of symmetrical water entry of tunneled sections. In this study, firstly, the water entry problem of a wedge section without tunnel in four different deadrise angles was numerically modeled. The obtained results related to the pressure distribution on these sections and the maximum pressure have been compared with the experiment results. In the next s...

Effect of Parameters on Soil-Structure Interaction of a Buried Corrugated Steel Arch Bridge

Based on an actual corrugated steel plate arch bridge, considering soil-structure interaction, by using the finite element program of ANSYS, a 2-D finite element model was set up to analyze the soil pressure and structural deformation under different load conditions in detail. Since this type of structure relies on the soil-structure interaction to share the load, as the structural parameters h...

Numerical Simulation in Aortic Arch Aneurysm

The aorta, acting as the main conduit through which cardiac output is delivered to the systemic arterial bed, is continuously exposed to high pulsatile pressure and shear stress, making it prone to mechanical injury. It is also more prone to rupture than other vessels, particularly with the development of aneurysmal dilation. Fifty percent of patients who experience a rupture of a aortic aneury...

Numerical Simulation of Free Surface in the Case of Plane Turbulent Wall Jets in Shallow Tailwater

Wall-jet flow is an important flow field in hydraulic engineering, and its applications include flow from the bottom outlet of dams and sluice gates. In this paper, the plane turbulent wall jet in shallow tailwater is simulated by solving the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations using the standard  turbulence closure model. This study aims to explore the ability of a time splitting method ...
